When creative minds come together to solve real-world problems using the power of analytics, great things happen.

The SAS Hackathon is more than just a competition; it’s a global innovation experience that brings together coders, domain experts and big thinkers from across industries and backgrounds.

What we’ve been up to

During SAS Innovate in May, the SAS Hackathon Boot Camp brought together customers, partners and students for a hands-on challenge. Using SAS® Viya®, attendees explored bias in a complex data set with their choice of code or low/no-code tools. They walked away with diplomas, T-shirts and prizes for the top teams!

What’s next

Teams have until Aug. 31 to register. Participants will have access to SAS Viya for one month and own the intellectual property they develop. It’s not your typical weekend sprint – it’s a full-on innovation marathon. Know a customer who might be interested? Encourage them to visit the Hackathon webpage for more information.

SAS employees can get involved, too, by becoming mentors. You’ll support teams by being a guide, point of contact and friendly face for participants navigating the SAS Viya platform. As a mentor, you’ll be a SAS representative and ambassador, making a powerful impact this September-October.

Want a head start? Our industry track leaders are hosting thirty-minute webinars, during which they share key information and help you and your team get Hack-ready.

Register and join in on this innovation marathon
